What is the Home and School Club?

Last year the Home and School club purchased 30 new iMacs for the Media Center. New picnic tables (purple, of course) were purchased and installed for the upper grades.

The Lietz Home and School Club is made up of parent volunteers, teachers and staff. The purpose of the Home and School Club is to provide support for the school community and to provide funds for these school enhancements; school assemblies, art vistas, create with clay, field trips, science camp grants, teacher grants and school activities that build community strength and spirit.

Where and when?

The Home and School Club meets monthly through out the school year on the second Wednesday of most months. The meetings take place in the staff lounge starting at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings; it's a good place to get information about school activities and to find out how you can get involved. We also provide free babysitting during the meetings.

You make the difference!

Lietz is a great school that is made better by involvement from parents, teachers and staff. The Home and School Club would like to invite and encourage all parents from Lietz to get involved and volunteer in some capacity. Any spare time you have will make a difference. Our goal is to fit people with what they enjoy!

Be heard!

We welcome and rely on input from our school community. Each board member and most committee chairs have an envelope in the Home and School Club mailbox located in the school office. You can reach us by voicemail at 264-8314 ext. #52.
