Updates

Safety Alert!

We want all of our students and families to be safe during pick-up and drop-off in the morning and afternoon. It is important that we obey all traffic laws at these times.

You may have noticed we have students out doing Safety Patrol to help regulate the traffic flow and provide safe areas for students to cross the street. Please come to a complete stop when the signs are up.

We are requesting a few things if you are dropping off or picking up students:

  1. Use the drop off circle through the parking lot.
  2. The turnout by Room 16 and the portables is blocked off with cones to allow for bus drop off only. Please do not stop your car and block that area.
  3. Everyone should cross in a crosswalk, including parents. Please help us set a good example for our students.
  4. Please do not stop in the middle of the street, pull into neighbors driveways, or make illegal U-turns as this causes both traffic and safety problems.

Let's work together to make the streets around our school safe. Thank you for your cooperation.

If you have pictures to add to the school yearbook throughout the year please email them to lietzpics@mail.com

LIETZ CELEBRATES SUCCESS!

The State of California recently released its API (Academic Performance Index) scores for all schools. Schools are given a score on a range of 200-1000. Last year, our Base API was a score of 780. This year we increased by 51 points to a score of 831. This is the highest Lietz has been since STAR testing began. While this is just a number, it is reflective of the significant growth and hard work of all our students, teachers, and families. We look forward to building on this success and helping all students achieve at their highest levels.
